For years we have watched the brave women and men of Iran resist the fundamentalist regime and its barbaric rules, denying their basic and legitimate human rights. Today, however, we are witnessing their anger turned into an all out uprising. What had begun as a protest for killing of Mahsa Amini, a 22 year-old girl, at the hands of the so-called “morality police” in Tehran since September 2022, has now morphed into an all out revolt against the tyrannical Islamic regime in Iran.
